Americert Issues Updated Fee Schedule Effective Jan. 31, 2026

Americert has issued an updated fee schedule for organic certification. A copy is attached below. A quick summary of some of the updates, our first in two years, is as follows:

Updated fees for:

• Some tiers of certification.

• Adding products.

• Label reviews.

• Equivalency determinations.

• Issuing export documentation.

• Mediation.

• Late fees.

• Certain contractual noncompliance penalty fees.

New fees for:

• Out of state operations, intended to defray the costs of administering certification and inspecting of operations outside of Florida.

• Reviewing “ingredient list only” organic claim labels.

• For when Americert is required to scan paper submissions.

• For when Americert has to make changes to the certificate of an operation after the annual updated certificate is issued.

• Reviewing uncertified operations.
